The Bull City Summer team has been hard at work for the past three months, documenting the ballpark and beyond through writing and photography. You’ve seen our work on Facebook and here on BullCitySummer.org, on WRAL.com and The Paris Review Daily. Now, as we reach the end of the season, we’re preparing for the publication of a limited edition fine art book featuring the best of Bull City Summer, due Spring of 2014 from Daylight Publishing, as well as an exhibition of our photography at the North Carolina Museum concurrent with the 2014 Durham Bulls season. Throughout our project’s final stretch, we’re offering the chance for you to donate and join the Bull City Summer team.

In exchange for your tax-deductible contribution* to this project, you’ll receive the following great rewards:

$10 – A warm thank you from all of us here at Bull City Summer.
$25 – Your name printed in the book as a contributor (prize available till October 31, 2013, when the book goes to press).
$50 – Your name in the book and a limited edition Bull City Summer T-shirt featuring our logo on a soft American Apparel tee.
$75 – Your name in the book, a T-shirt, and a raffle ticket for a drawing in which two winners will be chosen to be documentarians for a day1.
$100 – Your name in the book, a T-shirt, a documentarian-for-a-day raffle ticket, and a limited edition copy of the Bull City Summer book.
$250 – All of the above plus an invitation to join the Bull City Summer team on the Party Deck at DBAP for food, beer and baseball at the start of the 2014 season.
$500 – All of the above plus a three-hour urban photo safari.2 Your copy of the book will also be signed by all members of the Bull City Summer team.
$1000 – All of the above, including a signed book, plus an exclusive invitation to be a documentarian for a day.

1At the conclusion of our fundraising campaign, we will have a drawing to determine two raffle winners to be documentarians for the day. If you’re chosen as a winner, we’ll invite you to share your talents as a guest contributor to the Bull City Summer team next season. You’ll receive a press pass and full access to the Bulls press box, clubhouse and field. You’ll also have the opportunity to interview fans, players, staff, and team members, and you’ll win a guest post on the WRAL.com website and the Bull City Summer site featuring your writing and/or photography. Donors at the $1000-level and above automatically win this prize, no drawing necessary. Transportation not included.

2This three-hour urban photo safari with Bull City Summer photographers will offer a chance to explore historic downtown Durham through a unique photographic lens. Our photographers will provide technical guidance and creative suggestions for your own images as you stroll the streets of the Bull City, culminating with a refreshing pint at Fullsteam. Participants will be invited to submit their photos for a slideshow on the Bull City Summer website. Transportation not included.

Below, you can donate to the project through our fiscal sponsor, the Southern Documentary Fund. We so appreciate your support!
